Peck Precision Machine & Tool is a 3rd generation family business with an eye toward the future, established in the 1950's as Peck Tool & Die in Vestal, NY by Marty Peck.  Marty (grandp a) received his training and knowledge through apprenticeship and hard work; the old fashioned way.   He laid the foundation for what would later become Peck Precision Machine & Tool.  Operating a successful Tool & Die business unti l the early 1970's, he trained his sons, Jim and Charles.  Jim would later found Peck Precision.  While together at Peck Tool & Die, these men would take on jobs most other companies would not, gathering valuable training and experience whic h would serve them well in later years and into today.  Upon the semi-retirement of Marty in the early 1970's, Jim Peck decided to start up where his father left off and began what is now Peck Precision Machine & Tool as S & S Enterprises rig ht here on the grounds in Friendsville, PA.  Jim successfully operated his business through the 1970's, 1980's, and 1990's until the present day.  Upon entry of the 3rd generation in the early 1980's, they were trained by both previous generatio ns, sharing and imparting their knowledge on them.  Purchasing his first piece of computer controlled machinery in 1985, Jim's sons Doug and Gerry, and nephew Greg, using their old fashioned training blended with the use of new technology, grew the b usiness by creating specialty niches within the trade.  Currently, with 3 generations of Tool & Die makers we have established Peck Precision Machine & Tool as a premier manufacturing business.  Our services & skills include, but are not limited to; Precision CNC Machining (turning & Milling) of many different materials, Wire EDM, Hard-Turning & Hard-Milling of Super-Alloys, Welding, Fabrication, Assembly, Inspection, Grinding, Manual machining, and the capability and experie nce to Engineer & Design special tooling, Dies, Jigs, and Fixtures to support our increasing capabilities and customer requirements.  We serve customers in many industrial sectors from aerospace and space exploration to the medical field.  T he market sectors we serve are both military and commercial.  Our customers are and always will be our #1 priority.  We take pride in our work, quality is our commitment, and our experience is your savings!  Please feel free to browse o ur website or email us with your current requirement.
